HGV Class 1 Driver – General Haulage & Tramping

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for General Haulage & Tramping work out of Haydock. 

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday 
• Starting between 0500 - 0800

Pay - All Rates PAYE Including Holiday Pay

• £17.65p/h - Monday to Friday
• £26.00 Per night out


What You'll Be Doing

• Driving Class 1 Vehicle around the UK
• Mixed trailer types — double-deck & curtainsided 
• Making between 1 and 3 deliveries per shift
• May be required to unload with Pump Truck
• Working to the site's paperwork and compliance standards
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

What You'll Need

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC card and Digi Card
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, IN or TT endorsements)
• Confidence unloading pallets with an electric pump truck
