Dayshift Transport Team Leader-Crewe

Our client is an award-winning chilled distribution company with a network of depots across the UK. We are looking to recruit a Dayshift Transport Team Leader to work a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, joining a busy Days Transport Team.

The Role 

• Working with the transport management team to ensure the control and monitoring of driver and legal compliance.
• Maintain systems and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Ensure Transport (Drivers) is compliant with all aspects of health and safety legislation.
• Manage the drivers to ensure all customer requirements and legal requirements are achieved.
• Support with maximizing vehicle utilization.
• Ensure legal compliance for VOSA, WTD and Tachograph legislation & Operator's Licence.

• You will be an experienced Transport Team Leader, confident managing a large fleet and team of drivers.
• You must have extensive experience with the management of strict policy and process management skills.
• High level understanding of WTD and Tachograph legislation
