Job Description

We are seeking 6 professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for making deliveries and collections to RDC's.

These are permanent positions

Hours

• 4 On 4 Off Shift Pattern
• Days & Nights Available
• Start times are between 0400 - 0700 Days and 1600 - 1900 for Nights

Pay - All Rates PAYE including Holiday Pay

• £17.65 P/H Monday to Friday Days
• £18.50 P/H Monday to Friday Nights
• £19.90 P/H Saturday
• £20.73 P/H Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided trailers safely, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Making deliveries to RDC's across the UK
• No loading or unloading required but you will need to ensure the load is strapped and secure
• Opening the curtains at some delivery points may be required
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logbooks
• Follow company policies related to driving hours, rest periods, and vehicle maintenance

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving license with less than 6 points for minor endorsements
• CPC & Digi Card
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, including tachograph rules and working hours legislation
