The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of oil waste and salvage materials from customer sites and designated locations across the region.

The role involves working to scheduled collections and ensuring all loads are transported safely and in accordance with relevant transport and environmental regulations.

Hours

• Temp to Perm 
• Monday to Friday - AM Starts
• Tramping - 4 nights out per week

Pay – PAYE

• £15.50 per hour – Standard rate
• £23.25 per hour – Overtime rate

Your duties will include:

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and responsibly
• Collecting and transporting oil waste materials
• Completing collections and deliveries in line with scheduled routes
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Ensuring all relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately
• Following all site safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Maintaining a professional attitude when dealing with customers and site personnel
• Ensuring the vehicle and equipment are kept clean and in a safe condition

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) Licence 
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience - 12 Months Required
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Experience within waste, tanker, oil salvage or similar environments would be advantageous
