Job Description
HGV Class 1 - KnowsleyWe are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing day shift container work In Knowsley.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who enjoy Container Movements and are looking for consistent work
The Role
As a Container Driver, you will be responsible for collecting loaded and empty shipping containers from UK ports and delivering them to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) and warehouses across the UK.

- Days Available
- Shifts Available Monday to Friday
- £17.93p/h Monday to Friday Days
Your duties on Days will include:
- Collecting containers from the docks using port booking systems
- Completing container checks and ensuring seal numbers match documentation
- Transporting import and export containers safely and efficiently
- Delivering containers to RDCs, distribution centres, and customer locations
- Returning empty containers back to the docks or designated depots
- Managing paperwork and PODs accurately
- Complying with port, customer, and transport regulations at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence, CPC and Digi Card
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Dock Card (essential)
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations
- Professional and reliable attitude
