HGV Class 1 Drivers - Wigan | Guaranteed Ongoing Work

Are you looking for reliable, ongoing Class 1 work with a fixed rota and regular shifts? We have opportunities available on both Days and Nights with a leading logistics provider in Wigan.

Shift Patterns

Saturday to Tuesday

• Start times between 03:00 - 11:00
• Fixed 4-day working pattern

Pay Rates (PAYE Including Holiday Pay) Saturday to Tuesday Days

• £24.66 per hour
• £27.46 per hour after 48 hours

Rolling 6 Week Rota

• Rolling 6-week rota
• Includes 3 weekends out of 6
• Start times between 03:00 - 11:00 or 17:00 - 22:00

Pay Rates Day Shifts (6 Week Rota)

• Monday to Friday: £22.41 per hour
• Saturday: £23.53 per hour
• Sunday: £24.66 per hour
• Overtime after 48 hours: £27.46 per hour
• Bank Holiday £32.22 per hour

Pay Rates Night Shifts (6 Week Rota)

• Monday to Friday: £23.53 per hour
• Saturday: £24.66 per hour
• Sunday: £25.78 per hour
• Overtime after 48 hours: £27.46 per hour
• Bank Holiday £34.48 per hour

• Driving Class 1 vehicles with box or double-deck trailers
• Vehicle checks and compliance with driving hours regulations
• Managing driving hours and compliance requirements

Days

• Delivering to retail stores across the North West
• 1 to 3 deliveries per shift
• Unloading at the delivery point

Nights

• RDC deliveries and trunking work
• Typically 1 to 3 drops per shift

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 3 months Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Double-deck trailer experience beneficial but not essential
