Job Description

A market-leading listed organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a growing division within the business. Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, you will be a senior member of a high-performing finance team, with responsibility for financial and management reporting across key operational divisions. You will act as a trusted business partner to senior operational stakeholders, helping drive performance, manage risk, and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic finance business partner to your area of responsibility

• Full P&L ownership for a growing subsidiary, including month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting

• Identify and analyse risks and opportunities to support delivery of annual targets

• Lead financial appraisal and cost tracking for strategic projects

• Develop deep operational knowledge of manufacturing processes, becoming a key point of reference

• Deliver insightful performance analysis for internal and external stakeholders

Key skills / qualifications:

• CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant

• Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment

• SAP or IFS systems experience advantageous (financial and production modules)

• Confident working with operational teams and translating activity into financial insight

• Proactive, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
