Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of a long-standing Manufacturing business, based in Sheffield, to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist.

Role: CNC Machinist
Location: Sheffield
Shift Pattern: Days (Mon - Fri) 6.00am-2.30pm / Nights (Mon-Thurs) 06.00pm - 04.00am
Salary: Competitive DOE

Responsibilities:

• Set and operate CNC Machines to produce high-precision components
• Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure components meet tight tolerances
• Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on machinery
• Adhere to health & safety and quality standards at all times
• Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Proven experience in CNC Machining and precision machining
• Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and measurement equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and a team-focused approach
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience with CNC machining and programming (advantageous)
