Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing business in Sheffield who are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join the business as part of the Quality team. In this role, you will support product verification, inspection, and quality assurance activities to ensure our products meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. You will play a key part in maintaining ISO-certified systems and supporting continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial verification tests on instruments.
• Record and report all test results accurately in line with company procedures.
• Conduct goods-in inspections to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and product specifications.
• Process and assess customer returns in accordance with quality procedures.
• Support the Quality and SHEQ teams with administrative tasks and data entry.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 standards.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical knowledge and quality awareness.

I'm keen to speak to Laboratory Technician's with the following skillset: 

• Understanding (or willingness to learn) of general metrology principles
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and measurement equipment would be beneficial
