Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a growing engineering business near Pontefract to recruit a CNC Machinist. This is a full-time role with a competitive salary, steady day shifts and overtime available. Key Benefits
• Salary: up to £40,000
• Monday to Friday Day Shifts

Responsibilities:
• Program, set and operate CNC machinery for milling or turning
• Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Select tooling and set appropriate speeds and feeds
• Carry out in process inspection with micrometres, verniers and gauges
• Complete work safely, accurately and within agreed timeframes
• Keep job records up to date and support general workshop standards

Requirements:
• Experience working as a CNC Machinist in a precision environment
• Confident programming at the machine with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens
• Strong understanding of machining methods, tooling and materials
• Able to work independently with a focus on quality and accuracy
• Comfortable interpreting engineering drawings
• Good communicator and supportive team member
• Advantageous but not essential: experience with large components, manual machining or heavy engineering work
