Purchase Ledger Clerk Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire
Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established business in recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their friendly, supportive finance team.
This position is hands-on and varied and you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate supplier accounts, supporting payment processes and ensuring the team keeps on top of documentation and queries.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Managing invoice queries, discrepancies and missing documentation
Ensuring all paperwork is obtained, checked and filed electronically
Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving any outstanding issues
Assisting with weekly/monthly payment runs
Processing staff expenses
Maintaining supplier accounts
Providing cover during periods of annual leave
Contributing to continuous improvements within the purchase ledger process
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working within a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident managing queries and chasing outstanding information
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
