Credit Controller
Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire
Elevation Accountancy & Finance Recruitment Group are searching for a detail-oriented Credit Controller to join a well-established and tight-knit finance team based in Barton-upon-Humber.
As a Credit Controller here, you’ll play a key part in managing the company’s credit control operations. The role involves ensuring prompt collection of outstanding payments, maintaining healthy cash flow, and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an efficient sales ledger function
- Process secure payment link receipts accurately and within required deadlines
- Prepare and extract daily BACS payment information for posting
- Support payment allocation activities, including accurate BACS coding and input
- Set up new customer cash and credit accounts within the internal finance system
- Handle credit limit adjustments in accordance with internal policies and approval frameworks
- Proactively chase overdue balances through phone, email and written communication across a large branch network
- Contribute to reducing debtor days through effective credit management
- Monitor and respond to queries received via the shared Accounts Receivable inbox
