Elevation HR are working with a dynamic manufacturing business who are looking for an HR Manager on a full-time, permanent basis at their site near Acrington. 

This manufacturing business is going through an exciting period of growth and change and is looking for a hands-on HR Manager to shape, support and develop its people strategy. Reporting into the HR Director, you’ll take ownership of the full HR generalist remit across a non-unionised, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be the go-to for managers, driving engagement, coaching on ER, and embedding a culture that reflects the company’s core values.

What you’ll be doing as a HR Manager:

  • Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to bring Core Values to life
  • Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle
  • Support and coach managers on employee relations, from informal conversations to more complex cases
  • Lead on employee engagement initiatives, helping to reintroduce and embed company values across all sites
  • Support with the roll out a performance review framework and drive a culture of feedback and development
  • Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and alignment with company values
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding to ensure consistent, positive employee experiences
  • Support and develop a direct line report, providing guidance and acting as a mentor
  • Some travel across other sites as and when required 

 

What you’ll bring

  • Solid HR experience, with a strong understanding of employment law and best practice.
  • The ability to influence, coach, and build credibility across all levels of the organisation.
  • Previous experience within the manufacturing industry 
  • Ideally be CIPD Qualified or working towards this
