Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a Project Quality Engineer (PQE) to play a critical role in delivering strategic quality assurance and control across technically demanding engineering programmes. You'll operate at the heart of project execution, ensuring technical compliance, full traceability, and customer satisfaction.

The role is initially 6 months on a temporary basis with a strong potential to become permanent due to their growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Project Quality Plans (PQPs) across the full project lifecycle.
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, NDE, and Testing teams.
• Support inspection/test activities, nonconformance resolution, and hold point management.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure contractual compliance.
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA programmes, and supplier quality improvements.
• Contribute to digital quality systems
• Capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement into future projects.

• Experience in Quality Engineering within complex manufacturing, defence, or nuclear sectors.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems 
• Strong skills in root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC) and CAPA management.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, ITPs, and supplier quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
