Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £38,000 per annum
Shifts: Rotating 2-Shift Pattern (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
Contract Type: Permanent

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working on behalf of a leading precision manufacturing business based in Sheffield, as they look to recruit a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced machinist with a strong understanding of CADCAM and SolidWorks to join a forward-thinking company renowned for high-quality engineering and continuous investment in technology and people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components

• Reading and interpreting detailed technical and engineering drawings

• Using CADCAM software (including SolidWorks) for offline programming and design interpretation

• Ensuring components meet tight tolerances and high-quality standards

• Working as part of a skilled team across a rotating 2-shift pattern

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling Machinist in a precision engineering environment

• Proficient in CADCAM software and SolidWorks

• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances

• Comfortable working a 2-shift rotation (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm)
