Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting one of our Professional Services clients in their search for an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join their ER and wider HR team. The role can be based in Sheffield, Manchester Scotland or Bristol (some travel will be required).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing expert advice and support to managers and employees.
- Manage and resolve complex ER cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Conduct thorough investigations and ensure timely and appropriate resolution of ER issues.
- Develop and implement ER policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Provide training and coaching to managers on ER best practices and legal compliance.
- Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse ER trends and metrics to develop proactive solutions and strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in employee relations, preferably in a specialist role.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience gained in professional services, corporate settings ideally within complex matrix environments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
