Finance Administrator Rotherham, South Yorkshire Up to £28,000
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are excited to have partnered back up with a brilliant local business as they look to recruit a Finance Administrator into their team.
This opportunity will see you managing daily transactional activities, including the reconciliation of company bank tills and accounts. This role involves supporting the financial operations of multiple group entities by maintaining accurate intercompany records across sales and purchase ledgers.
You will be expected to manage your workload independently, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within set deadlines, contributing to the timely delivery of accurate financial data to the management team and business owners.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile daily transactions from bank tills, identifying and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with team members
Complete daily bank account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and addressing any issues promptly
Provide regular updates and reports on the status of bank reconciliations and cash handling
Manage intercompany transactions across group companies, ensuring ledgers are balanced and accurate
Respond professionally to incoming calls and assist with general finance-related queries
Monitor and manage the shared accounts email inbox, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-ups
Support other areas within the Finance Department as needed, offering assistance during busy periods or absence
Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function
Deliver high levels of customer service and uphold the company’s core values and brand reputation
