Financial Controller
Location: Leeds
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus & Benefits 

The Role:

You’ll lead a motivated finance team and work closely with an inspirational Finance Director and a supportive Managing Director. Together, you’ll drive financial performance, shape strategy, and bring commercial insight to life across operations, purchasing, marketing, and sales. Key Responsibilities:

• Own month-end reporting and produce insightful board-level financial packs

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to align with business goals

• Drive improvements in finance systems and processes to boost efficiency and compliance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence operational performance and profitability

• Manage audits, tax returns, payroll, and financial controls with rigour

• Lead and inspire your finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement

About You:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified

• Proven track record as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, ideally in manufacturing or distribution

• Commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Confident communicator, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders

• Collaborative leader passionate about developing teams and culture
