Finance Manager

Location: Pontefract 

Salary: £60,000

A well-established  manufacturing business in the Pontefract is seeking a commercially astute and qualified Finance Manager to join their senior leadership team.

This is a pivotal, high-visibility role offering the opportunity to shape the finance function and contribute directly to the strategic direction and growth of a thriving, fast-paced business. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the finance team to deliver accurate and timely reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Partner with senior stakeholders to support commercial and operational decision-making.

• Own the preparation of financial statements, audit management, and compliance.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks while driving cost-efficiency initiatives.

• Develop and monitor KPIs to support ongoing performance and strategic growth.

About You:

• Professionally qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).

• Experience in a finance leadership role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or a similar industry.

• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, hands-on approach to improving systems and processes.

• Confident communicator, capable of influencing and engaging across departments and external stakeholders.
