Business Development Manager

Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in the construction industry, predominantly civil engineering? 

Do you have strong technical knowledge and commercial drive to win new business and build lasting relationships in a fast-paced sector?

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working with this highly regarded supplier to the Construction sector to recruit a Business Development Manager focused on girders and grid systems for construction and infrastructure projects.

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities with contractors, engineers, and procurement teams across construction and infrastructure projects. You’ll act as both a trusted advisor and a commercial driver - matching technical requirements with structural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by targeting new clients and developing existing accounts

  • Promote and sell lattice girders, grids, and structural reinforcement solutions to key decision-makers

  • Build strong relationships with contractors, structural engineers, formwork specialists, and procurement teams

  • Provide technical advice and product support, collaborating with in-house engineering teams when needed

  • Attend site visits, trade shows, and networking events to build market presence

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong B2B sales background in construction, civil engineering, or structural steel products

  • Understanding of reinforcement systems, concrete structures, or related materials is desirable

  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
