Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a manufacturer near Bradford to recruit an Electrical Fitter.

Electrical Fitter
Location: Bradford
Salary: £15 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:15

Responsibilities:

• Installation of electrical systems and equipment to engineering specifications
• Wiring in line with regulations and electrical engineering drawings
• Running cables and installing flexible conduit systems
• Termination of control panels, 3-phase motors, VSD units, and control equipment
• Installation and connection of lighting, switches, and low voltage equipment
• Fitting of cable tray, uni strut, and other related mechanical supports
• Ensure safe working practices using appropriate PPE and safety equipment
• Provide guidance, supervision, and skills transfer to apprentices or semi-skilled colleagues

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar electrical role
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring practices
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs
• Confident using Microsoft Office applications

Desirable Qualifications:

• Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Installation or Fitting
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• MEWP Licence
• Full UK Driving Licence
