We are now seeking a CNC Turner to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of a business that is shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.

Job Title: CNC Turner

Location: Darley Dale, Matlock
Salary: £46,699 + Skills Matrix for future progression
Shift Pattern: Mix of 12 hour days and night shifts

Week 1: 3x Day Shifts

Week 2: 4x Night Shift

Week 3: 2x Day Shift, 2x Night Shifts

Role Overview:

You will work amongst the machining forging and tooling team, on specified drawings for both manual and CNC machining centres. The parts machined feed both the commercial and aerospace markets therefore, attention to detail is key.

Responsibilities

• Tool Setting and operating of 4 & 5 Axis Milling and turning machines
• Editing using Fanuc Controls
• First line daily maintenance & 5 ‘S’
• First line inspection
• Operating powered cranes and lifting equipment
• Producing high precision medium to large components
• Small batch Machining environment – typically 6-12 pieces

Skills and Experience

• Experience in machining under +/- 0.05 mm tolerance
• CNC Turning Experience
• Understand Fanuc controls
• Attention to detail
• Apprentice trained (desirable)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Manual milling / turning experience (desirable)
