Elevation have the pleasure of working with container manufacturing business based in the Worksop area. My client is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-skilled Shift Engineer, to join their well established team with immediate effect.

Salary: £45,930
Location: Worksop
Hours: Days and nights shift pattern- no weekends!

Duties of a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer:

• Liasing with production team
• Working within a manufacturing company, you must be adaptable to this environment
• Working to a continuous improvement plan to make the business and machinery the best it can be
• Completing reactive maintenance and PPM’s on a daily basis
• Completing relevant paperwork in line with ISO’s
• Ensure machinery downtime is kept to a minimum
• Install, maintain, test and examine site machinery
• Understand and work to safe practises
• Other duties as and when required

Desired experience:

• You must have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and would be advantageous if you had a HNC/HND
• Must have experience within a Multi-skilled shift Engineer role previously
• Ideally have at least 3 years experience within in a manufacturing environment previously
• Must be able to work within a team and on own initiative
• Must have experience of working with breakdowns and PPM’s
• Have good computer skills
• Must be able to fault find
• Ideally have PLC knowledge as new system will be implemented
• Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
