Location: Asker, Norway
The Role
I am working with a global business who have a fantastic reputation for delivering innovation and ingenuity to their customers for over a century. They are a world lead in the communications, electrical and utility distribution as well as supply chain services.
They service over 130,000 customers across 50 countries and have a portfolio of products that run into the millions
They are now looking for a Senior Global Account Manager to join their team. If you enjoy opening doors, building relationships and turning complex customer requirements into commercial opportunities, this is a chance to make a real impact across the data centre and cloud market.
Youll develop new business and grow existing accounts with Multi-Tenant Data Centre operators, hyperscale and cloud customers, and strategic channel partners. With a strong focus on meeting customers face to face, youll get to understand their priorities and bring together the right products, services and solutions to help them deliver their plans.
Alongside driving revenue and margin, youll help shape opportunities from the early stages of the data centre project lifecycle. Working with architects, engineers and contractors through the AEC programme, youll bring together customers, partners and regional teams to build strong relationships and support a coordinated approach.
Were looking for someone who combines commercial judgement with creativity and the confidence to engage people across a business, from technical and operational teams through to senior executives. Whether youre leading a customer presentation, developing an account plan or putting together a competitive proposal, youll know how to turn a complex requirement into a clear and compelling solution.
Responsibilities
Skills & Expertise Required
Youll be an experienced sales professional who can see the potential in a major account and knows how to turn it into results. Youll be comfortable engaging senior executives, navigating complex organisations and building support across international teams.
Knowledge of the wider data centre market and industry trends would be a strong advantage. A secondary school qualification equivalent to a high school diploma is required, while a degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or a related subject would be beneficial.
