IT Support Engineer – 2nd Line

Solihull | £30,000 | Permanent | Office-based

We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a busy internal IT team based in Solihull. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ IT support experience who enjoys troubleshooting and providing hands-on support to users.

• Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support
• Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Exchange Online
• Troubleshooting Windows 10/11 hardware and software issues
• Setting up laptops, mobile devices and user accounts
• Supporting Teams and SharePoint
• Troubleshooting basic networking including TCP/IP, DNS and VPNs
• Managing and resolving support tickets

Essential skills..

• 2+ years’ IT support experience
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows knowledge
• Active Directory and Exchange Online experience
• Good networking fundamentals
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Experience working with ticketing systems

Experience with macOS, MDM, PowerShell or VoIP would be beneficial.
