Desk-Based Account Manager
Manchester (Office-Based, 5 Days Per Week)
£27,500 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission

We are looking for a Desk-Based Account Manager to join a growing technology business in Manchester. This role is focused on managing and developing existing customer accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Building strong relationships with key contacts and decision-makers
• Identifying and developing upsell and cross-sell opportunities
• Generating quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities
• Following up on customer enquiries and sales leads
• Maintaining accurate records within the CRM system
• Working closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience
• Achieving individual sales and revenue targets

Essential skills

• Previous Account Management, Internal Sales, Business Development, or Sales Executive experience
• Experience selling IT, technology, telecoms, managed services, software, hardware, or similar solutions
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to spot opportunities within existing accounts
• Self-motivated, organised, and target-driven
• Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
