Infrastructure Specialist (SC Cleared) – M365 and Networks

Contract: 3 Months
Rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Consultant to join a customer migration project, leading the successful delivery of a Microsoft 365 tenant migration.

This is a hands-on technical consultancy role, taking ownership of planning, design and implementation while working closely with customer stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle.

Alongside strong Microsoft 365 migration expertise, we're looking for someone with a good understanding of basic networking, particularly switching and network connectivity, to support migration activities and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues during delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration projects
• Work with customer stakeholders to understand the existing environment and migration requirements
• Produce and maintain technical documentation where required
• Migrate Microsoft 365 workloads, ensuring minimal disruption to end users
• Configure and troubleshoot migration tooling
• Support cutover planning and post-migration activities
• Work closely with customer IT teams to resolve technical issues throughout the project
• Assist with basic networking tasks, including switch configuration and connectivity troubleshooting where required

Networking Experience

This is not a dedicated Network Engineer role, but you should be comfortable with:

• Layer 2 switching fundamentals
• VLAN configuration and troubleshooting
• Basic switch configuration
• Network connectivity troubleshooting
• DNS and DHCP
• TCP/IP networking
