Business Development Manager – Nationwide Location: Covering whole of UK – Ideal candidates will be from either the Midlands or Greater London area
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (Salary is based on a split of 70% Base and 30% OTE)

They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their Home Improvement & Distribution Division and sell into some of the largest and most well-known distributors throughout the UK and Europe.

As a Business Development Manager you will

  • Identify new opportunities, customers and market trends within the consumer sector and channels/
  • Drive new business across the UK within the home improvement sector.
  • Create consistent growth by developing detailed business cases and commercial strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across marketing, supply chain and sales.
  • Forge new partnerships, alliances and licensing opportunities to create long term success.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis and assessments to guide strategic decisions
  • Support the pilot launches and testing of new products.
  • Deliver business plans to senior leadership
  • Drive innovation, brand and quality principles . Skills & Expertise
  • Demonstrable success in business development, strategic sales or commercial growth roles
  • Retail, FMCG or Consumer Products experience
  • Excellent track record of winning new business and opening new accounts
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional projects and influencing multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of category management principles
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Degree qualified in Business, Marketing or a related discipline (preferred)
