Remote with infrequent travel to Surrey
£500 – £600, Inside IR35
We’re looking for a Linux Engineer with strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience to support a short-term deployment and implementation programme for an enterprise environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Deploying and implementing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
- Supporting build, configuration and handover into BAU
- Working from agreed designs and implementation runbooks
- Troubleshooting OS-level issues during deployment and go-live phases
- Collaborating with infrastructure, network and security teams
Required experience:
- Strong hands-on Linux engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) – essential
- Proven experience delivering RHEL deployments and implementations
- Solid understanding of system configuration, patching and hardening
- Comfortable working independently in a delivery-focused contract role
