Deskside Support Engineer
Location: Onsite in Marlow
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
A Global Infrastructure Consultancy is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer to join their onsite support team in Marlow. This is a hands‑on role supporting users, hardware, software, and local infrastructure, with exposure to modern Microsoft technologies and VIP environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out basic hardware repairs (warranty and non‑warranty).
• Manage PC lifecycle tasks and asset management.
• Support installations, moves, and changes.
• Provide deskside software support.
• Act as Smart Hands for network and print equipment.
• Deliver VIP support.
• Support conferencing and onsite events.
Required Skills & Experience
• Previous IT support experience across PC hardware/software, networking, or print support.
• Knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and stay organised.
• Comfortable using ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar).
• Willingness to act as Smart Hands for network/print equipment.
• Keen to learn, develop, and grow within the role.
