Arcadis is seeking a BIM Manager to join our U.S. Semiconductor Sector. In this senior leadership role, you will report to the Director of Architecture and Engineering, oversee a nationwide team of BIM Leads and Coordinators, and lead US Semiconductor on BIM strategy and standards, both at company-internal and across complex semiconductor projects. You will partner with Project Managers and Discipline Leads to determine project standards, technology and BIM staffing requirements, drive innovation, optimize workflows, and ensure successful project delivery. The BIM Manager will also champion technology adoption, mentor team members, and contribute to strategic business growth initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Role accountabilities:

  • Manage and assign Project BIM Leads and Coordinators to projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and grow the US Semiconductor BIM team through mentoring and training internally as well as external representation to increase market awareness and attract talent.
  • Together with Project Managers and Discipline Leads, develop comprehensive BIM Execution Plans for projects.
  • Work with the Director of Architecture and Engineering, BIM Leads, and Discipline Leads to establish and improve BIM standards. Support Project Managers in successful use and implementation of standards.
  • Provide expertise to the business unit including information regarding company and industry standards, client standards, and other requirements.
  • Look for opportunities to expand the business to drive the business and strategic growth.
  • Advising Project Leadership on staffing and related issues during project setup and throughout the project.
  • Organize and conduct workshops and training to maintain and further BIM expertise within the project teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives.
  • Visit project/client sites and firm offices as required to consult on BIM topics and help resolve related issues.
  • Support and Manage laser scan and AR/VR efforts for project and client needs.
  • Attend regular office project operations, department operations, and business development meetings to review current priorities and progress on initiatives.
  • Potentially supervise up to 10 or more BIM Leads and Coordinators in various office locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in BIM/VDC, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in BIM/VDC, including managing nationwide teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and optimization of BIM tools, including software implementation, updates, customization, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Construction Cloud) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents and respond effectively to inquiries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex information to management, clients, and peers.
  • Track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and implementing best practices.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and industry standards.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours as needed for global collaboration.
  • Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
