We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Lead Architect focusing on advanced technology industries within the Global Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) Process Department at our European ATG Group Headquarters in Citywest, Dublin.
Position Summary
This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. We design of some of the most complex and specialised facilities being constructed today. This team is a fantastic place for an Architect to take their career to new heights.Projects for our clients include feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. They will exhibit a passion and desire to apply their technical experience and knowledge in a team environment on technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects. Our team is seeking a person who understands the importance of meeting their targeted commitments while being flexible to the ever-changing and fast paced environment of our clients’ sites.Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Undertake GAP Analysis, Support CSA Tool Install
- Produce fully coordinated construction documents utilising AutoCAD and Revit in conjunction with an extended multi-disciplinary design team
- Undertake site activities such as site surveys and design verification, perform quality review checks for both CAD drawings and Revit models, provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Oversee Junior Staff
- Serve as Architectural Design Lead
- Assist / lead the CSA Team in various semi-conductor sector related works
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders in the technology sector
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards
- Support timely and within-budget project delivery in advanced technology sectors
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in architectural design, preferably in advanced technology industries
- Registrations/Certificates required (RIAI or RIBA)
Special considerations, specific technical experience, skills, etc. include:
- Strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, cleanroom protocols, and facility design, including equipment requirements, utilities, and chemical handling systems.
- Proficiency in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital twin platforms to optimise design, construction, and operational efficiency.
- Dynamo
- Skilled in integrating technical needs from engineers, suppliers, and managers.
- Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects. Familiarity with SEMI, NFPA, and ISO standards.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail for precise designs and documentation.
