Role Description

Architectural Technologist with specialized experience in Data Center Development for a client-side role. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed architectural solutions, technical drawings, and specifications in accordance with both industry and company standards.

Role Accountabilities

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop high-quality data center designs that meet client requirements.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
• Evaluate and select materials and methods used in data center construction to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory codes, and sustainability practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies specifically tailored to data center projects.
• Assist in developing project timelines and budgets with a focus on data center constraints.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and implementation of data center-specific design elements.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to secure permits and certifications relevant to data center construction.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with design specifications and address any issues in real-time.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural technology with a focus on data center projects.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
• In-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices specific to data centers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
