Position summary:

The Advanced Technology Group are seeking a Contracts Administrator with Expeditor experience and ideally a QS/Procurement background to come join our growing team. In this role the successful candidate will support the sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and management support for the Client. In this position he/she will work closely with local or site-based Contract Managers and Procurement Team, for design, engineering, finance, legal, and construction to deliver complex projects enabling Client manufacturing capacity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review procurement and tendering process and buyout plan identifying risks.
  • Ensure contractor executes contract as per awarded document.
  • Administrating Change control procedures and prepare change orders.                 
  • Issue Notice related to contract and ensure notice tracking.
  • Identify contract admin issues and seek instruction from client in relation to contract.
  • Managing commercial risk register for the project.
  • Provide oversight on claims and invoicing.
  • Ensure KPI's monitored, collated monthly and communicated to the Contractor.
  • Ensuring project documentation is issued to the client.
  • Communicate with Trades on procurement/delivery status.
  • Pull report from Trades on weekly basis.
  • Ensure Trades provide report and quality data.
  • Support enhancement of procurement processes through analysis, problem solving and escalations to Trades and Supply Chain Management to mitigate impacts/ if ongoing issue.

Education & experience:

  • QS/Procurement background
  • Experience in Semi-Conductor or Pharmaceutical industry an advantage
  • Experience on site enabling type work an advantage
  • Strong ability to negotiate and get value across medium site projects.
