Position Summary:
 As a System Engineer specializing in Factory Management Software Testing, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and integration of our new software solution into our manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of both software systems and the unique requirements of the [Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical] industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with software development teams to understand system requirements and functionality.
  2. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  3. Execute test cases and document test results, including defects and issues found during testing.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and IT, to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  5. Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization in software testing procedures.
  6. Provide technical expertise and support to troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues during testing and post-implementation.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Factory Management software and testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in system engineering, software testing, or related roles.
  • Prior experience in the [Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical] industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in Mech/Exhaust systems, UPW, or IWS.
  • Proficiency in test planning, test case development, and execution.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SCADA systems and Factory Automation software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the [Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical] industry, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or SEMI standards.
  • Certifications in software testing or quality assurance are a plus.
