Job Description

Summary
DPS Group has multiple openings for experienced Tool Install Designers (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Architectural, Structural) to join our growing A&E design team in Chandler, AZ. Candidates will have direct experience supporting advanced technology tool installation projects within the semiconductor industry, working with multi-disciplinary teams comprised of Designers, Engineers, Project Managers, Coordinators, and field construction personnel. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and Revit is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
 

• Work directly with lead engineers and designers on large scale industrial facilities.
• Utilize state of the art design and modelling software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• An understanding of project lifecycle related to tool installation scope and discipline specific deliverables.
• Ability to coordinate and interact effectively across multi-disciplined teams.
• Identifying deliverables, defining requirements, and creating design drawings.
• Develop layouts while working in tandem with project managers and engineers on multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills and Qualifications
 

• 2+ years’ experience in the AEC industry, with a proven track record of designing semiconductor facilities. Bonus points for tool install specialization.
• Working knowledge of relevant CADD software programs; AutoCAD/BIM/Revit, along with Microsoft Office suite.
• Background in drafting and design (Associate’s degree minimum preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
• Team player who can work with a variety of software, projects, and other individuals.
