Position Summary:
The Construction manager will be responsible for the Construction, Logistics, MIMO and Trade enabling activities for the client. The Construction Manager will work directly with the Client Construction site lead. The Construction Manager will run the complete construction program within the criteria set out in the Project Execution plan for this project

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Lead Construction Coordination and Integration process with all site projects and within Tool Install Project.
  • Responsible for all logistic aspects of TI construction logistics. Escalation point for site issues related to security, safety, staging and working areas.
  • Responsible for trade contractors and CM field supervision personnel.
  • Develops and maintains close relationship with all trade functions starting from site managers through craftsman.
  • Responsible for contractors’ discipline, security and compliance to Client guidelines.
  • Drive proliferation of IFF culture, promote safety behaviour by contractors and ensure implementation of trade safety programs. Work in coordination with CEHS on the implementation of ASM program.
  • Final decision maker and roadblock remover for field level multi-discipline conflicts
  • Supervises contractors’ daily beat, daily communications via White Boards, Stand Downs, and “All-Hands” meeting. Responsible for effective communication between CM, trade management level and entire contractors’ population.
  • Owns contractors’ Protocol compliance, manages the team of field coachers and works with Client Micro Team on procedures and strategies.
  • Ensures field driven changes are coordinated and expedited to meet schedule. Overlooks RFI process and interfaces Client Design Manager and AE Company.
  • Leads site observation walks with coordination between Client and Trade Mgmt. Responsible for setting up a schedule to be performed at least weekly, ensuring appropriate participation, and reporting out findings to Client.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
10+ years’ experience in construction industry with 4+ years in Semi-conductor

Essential Skills:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter with strong ethics, solid organizational skills, attentive to details, and able to multi-task and rise to the challenge under tight timeline.
  • Strong communication skills both in verbal and written English.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, creative, innovative and with cost conscious and result-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to lead a diverse team to achieve a common goal.
  • Champion and value the safety culture of caring throughout the project lifecycle
  • 1+ years working with/work related to Safety Standards and other Industry Standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Can do attitude
