Position Summary
In this role you will be a part of our VDC/BIM team and work on complex projects for world class clients within the advanced technology sector. You will be responsible for wearing multiple hats to help deliver on-time, ever-developing scopes of work, including but not limited to BIM coordination, modelling, and laser scanning.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver on-time, ever-developing scopes of work for the client, including but not limited to BIM coordination, modelling, and laser scanning.
• Development of detailed 3D piping and electrical models for advanced technology facilities.
• Utilization of laser scans to ensure clash free routing and model accuracy against existing conditions.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Coordination of BIM models within a multi-user BIM environment.
• Clash management, issue identification and resolution.
• Lead coordination meetings with all key stakeholders and drive any issues arising to resolution.
• BIM file creation and maintenance.
• Conduct site visits and field walks to ensure work accuracy and understand issues that can arise in the field. May be asked to wear a clean room gown and follow clean room protocol, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces like catwalks and under RMF (raised metal floor).
• Always follow safety guidelines for site/office environments and act as a Safety Steward as part of the unified project team.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree four-year college or university
• One or two years related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Essential Skills

• In-depth working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD (or equivalent software), and a skilled user of digital technology tools
