Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to lead MV/LV electrical design delivery across semiconductor manufacturing facilities, while managing and developing a high-performing engineering team.
This is a critical leadership role within a fast-paced Engineering environment, requiring strong technical authority, delivery focus, and the ability to drive coordination across complex, highly integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering team, including MV/LV engineers and designers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and delivery milestones
• Own electrical design delivery across all project phases — from concept through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning
• Act as the Electrical Discipline Lead, interfacing with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, and client stakeholders
• Drive technical excellence and consistency, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate electrical systems across highly integrated facility infrastructure, ensuring robust and scalable power distribution solutions
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination across:
  • Wet & Dry Mechanical
  • Chemical / Process Systems
  • Automation & Controls
  • Industrial Engineering
• Review and approve critical deliverables, including:
  • MV/LV distribution strategies and architectures
  • Load schedules and demand modelling
  • Single line diagrams and panel schedules
  • Earthing and bonding strategies for sensitive environments
  • Protection philosophies and selectivity studies
  • Specifications and IFC deliverables
• Ensure constructability and installation readiness, supporting site teams through construction, energisation, and commissioning
• Drive schedule performance, ensuring design deliverables align with project milestones and construction sequencing
• Lead technical risk management, proactively identifying and mitigating capacity, integration, and delivery risks
• Mentor and develop the electrical team, building capability and promoting best practice across semiconductor projects
• Drive standardisation and innovation, including efficient design approaches and repeatable electrical solutions

Requirements
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in a lead electrical engineering role, with responsibility for managing teams
• Strong technical expertise in MV/LV power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, cabling, and protection systems
• Experience working in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of high-reliability and mission-critical electrical systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary interfaces and complex project requirements
• Experience within EPCM project delivery environments, with exposure to fast-track schedules
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
