Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer for a contract position in Ireland within the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Management (EPCM) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion.- Develop, review, and approve electrical design plans and specifications.- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.- Conduct site inspections and oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and safety protocols.- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.- Proven experience in leading electrical engineering projects within the EPCM framework.- Strong knowledge of electrical design software and tools.- Excellent project management and leadership skills.- Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:- Experience with renewable energy projects.- Familiarity with Irish electrical regulations and standards.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
