Position Summary:
Arcadis DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a Doc Controller with a solid background in construction support to join our growing team based in Ocotillo, Arizona. Our team is growing, and we are recruiting a Document Control  professional to work as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data centre facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. The doc control function is central to our success. In this role you will be reporting to the Director of Arizona Operations. This team is a fantastic place for a doc control professional to take their career to new heights. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will support the Client AMHS Innovation Team with the importance of meeting targeted commitments while being flexible to the ever-changing and fast paced environment of our clients’ sites.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • The Document Control Representative will be responsible for logging and filing project related document.
  • Supporting the Client AMHS Innovation team
  • The Doc Control Rep will receive and process RFI’s and Submittals.
  • The Doc Control Rep will receive and distribute project drawings per the Document Distribution Matrix.
  • Files, audits, receives, distributes, tracks, and maintains incoming and outgoing document tracking system of confidential and non-confidential construction documents according to established procedures and standards for security and document organization.
  • Familiar with CMP Document Control Section and the Document Control SOP from training by Document Control Manager.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within document control or construction document control field.
  • Follows instructions, workflows, and procedures.
  • Makes recommendations of potential improvements.
  • Familiar with security of documentation or understanding of information security guidelines.
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to work through issues without supervision
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Data Input & Indicators
  • Assistance in tracking and reporting of indicator programs (sponsors, tool closeouts, forecasts, incident investigation reports, leading safety indicators, lagging safety indicators, etc.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and strong multi-tasking skills.

Education & Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in records management and/or construction records management.
  • Requires a certificate or its equivalent and at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications; Outlook, Word, Excel and Access
  • Some knowledge of records management principles and procedures.
  • Ability to handle high volume of in-coming and out-going documents.
  • Ability to complete tasks and meet turnaround time schedules.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong data entry skills with an eye for details and accuracy.

  • Travel: level of travel e.g., 0% travel, 0 – 20% travel, 20 – 50% travel
  • Location: Malaysia site-based role with visa sponsorship provided for this position.
