Position Summary
DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager III. In this position the successful candidate will be working in conjunction with the Client Representative to ensure success of a complex design project

Key responsibilities in this role include but are not not limited to identification of design scope opportunities, working with the client rep to develop design packages for implementation, manage change control and design schedule. Work with the project team to identify risk and track of all items to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager III will be supported by a team located both on the client project site and in remote locations. This team may change throughout the duration of the project.

Role Expectations Business Development/Client Relationships:

  • Actively support business development activities on leads and opportunities.
  • Actively participate in client meetings for the successful delivery of the project.
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals and client presentations.
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust.
  • Develop and manage weekly reporting and KPI for communication to the client and DPS Management.

Schedule and Cost:

  • Responsible for managing budgeted manhours, project expenses, sub consultants, invoicing and margin targets.

Quality:

  • Responsible for ensuring that the site and remote teams comply with the quality management system while delivering to the project milestones.
  • Implement DPS SOP’s, Work Instructions and Guidelines on project.
  • Implement DPS systems and tools on projects..
  • Ensure corrective actions are closed out in an appropriate and timely fashion.
  • Ensure department design reviews as defined in the Project Execution Plan are implemented on projects before issues of packages.

Branding:

  • Ensure awareness and Compliance with all relevant DPS Branding requirements.

HR:

  • Compliance with all relevant HR procedures and standards

Experience & Skills Required

  • Act as Client Liaison for all matters related to the project and performance of contract requirements.
  • Identify staffing requirements to meet agreed upon project schedules and work with the Program and Technical Directors and the Mobilisation team to ramp up the team to meet the schedule and scope requirements.
  • Ensure regular and timely communication with the Site based and remote project teams.
  • Effectively manages changes to the staffing plans in support of the project.
  • Implement the DPS Change Management Process for the project to manage scope and maintain schedule, including impact assessment for all scope changes for the project.
  • Monitor teams' performance on the project and work with their Department Managers to quickly correct any performance issues if they occur.
  • Ensures employees are working according to our agreed upon terms of the project contract.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Be committed to safe working practices both in the office and on site.

  • Strong Technical knowledge of Tool Install and Basebuild facilities requirements
