Position Summary:
The Contract Lead Electrical  Engineer role is to provide Electrical  Systems Engineers support in design and construction of electrical equipment, plant and distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The timely completion of all electrical and related utility systems, specifications, drawings and technical requisitions within strenuous quality and safety criteria.
  • Ensure that designs are in accordance with applicable codes and standards, e.g. Italian Building Regulations and applicable codes  and standards.
  • Development of Electrical and utilities systems through all design stages: Conceptual, preliminary and detailed engineering.
  • Specification of complex electrical systems; including i) Medium and low voltage power systems, ii) lightning, grounding, process heating/cooling, iii) standby generators and UPS systems.  
  • Audits and  efficiency reviews.
  • Building Management Systems (BMS) – development of sequence of operations through all design stages.
  • Interfacing with clients, vendors, the wider project management and construction team, and other disciplines ensuring the highest level of service is provided.
  • Co-ordinating and assisting during installation and start-up.

Education & Experience:

  • Technical/Engineering degree.
  • 10+ years relevant experience on large multidiscipline projects in a design or CM role with 3 years relevant semiconductor experience preferred. 
  • Generation and Distribution experience
  • Previous experience in design of  CapEx Projects and Contractor Management.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, value for money, adaptability, technical quality, and professional standards.
  • Fluent in both English and Italian
