About the Role:

Within DPS, the Software Services Group (SSG) is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of several semiconductor Construction Project Management software applications. The software provides scheduling and project management solutions across key phases of these construction projects. Project spends can be up to €8bn with individual project life cycles of up to 5 years.

The position reports to the Software Services Group (SSG) Software Development Manager and you will work closely with our development team as well as interacting with the construction project management team. The software development team develops logistics applications for DPS clients.

The position requires strong development skills with responsibility for the design, development, testing, debugging of our applications.

The position requires at least 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field or in a related area. You must have a very strong ability in writing clean and maintainable code, knowledge of relational databases, web and client-server concepts, and be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish deliverables.

90% of your time will be writing code or architecting solutions to BA requirements. JetrBrains, RedGate and Visual Studio 2022 licenses are supplied to all developers.

Key responsibilities:

• Full stack developer delivering custom web applications using .NET framework, .NET core or .NET 7, VueJS, MSSQL, CosmosDb, Service Bus, EventStore, MassTransit.
• Provide input to systems architecture and design.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
• Support the business analyst providing input to the system design and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure

Education & experience:

• Primary degree in IT or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years direct working knowledge of and experience with .NET a priority.
• Minimum 3 years direct working knowledge of and experience with Javascript frameworks VueJS/AngularJS/React.
