Position Summary:

DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a Team Lead to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and maintaining the team of process engineering technicians & Operations technicians to support the project requirements.

The successful candidate will be the main point of contact with the Client team. In this position the successful candidate will attend the Client operations meetings and use this to give direction to the team on priorities, acting as a trusted advisor.

This position will be based in Cork and is full time on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Own safety, quality & output metrics for the team.
  • Manage and direct the onsite team to support Clients operational goals.
  • Own and drive the day-to-day management of the team.
  • Own and drive the team’s personnel development
  • Attend all operational meetings to represent the team.
  • Timely escalation of equipment/operational issues to the correct owner.
  • Ownership of management of the agreed KPI’s for the team.
  • Support and participate in any relevant safety/improvement teams.
  • Where appropriate, support activities listed under the Process Engineering technician or Operations technician.

Education & Experience:

  • L7 graduate in a Science/Physics/Chemistry/Engineering discipline
  • 5 years’ experience in leading a team in a manufacturing/Lab environment
