Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is a mission-critical senior leadership role supporting our Global Business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Global Operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, delivering, and developing our existing and future projects throughout the region to ensure that all DPS business objectives are achieved.
To succeed in this position, the candidate must have a strong background in a senior management position in semiconductor construction projects. A combination project management, engineering, and construction background is essential, with experience from the Client and/or a General contractor, AE or CM preferred.
The successful candidate will initially be required to manage the mobilisation of, and the day-to-day execution of DPS’s existing project within the region and to build excellent relationships with our existing customer.
Once established, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding DPS’s presence across the region to ensure growth in line with our overall company projected growth plans.
All candidates must be able to demonstrate achievements accomplished throughout his or her career that clearly identifies strong project management, team development, business acumen, strategic vision, and a strong analytical approach to business decisions and successes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishment of a local base of operations for provision of DPS projects.
  • Successful delivery of existing and future projects within the region.
  • Provision of technical leadership for the execution of existing projects.
  • Forecasting, attraction, development & retention of a DPS team.
  • Adaption, Integration, and development of existing DPS SOP’s and Best Know methods.
  • Combination of the baseline operations, resources, and projects into a singular entity
  • Building on existing and new relationships with DPS customers.
  • Identification of additional business opportunities in the region.
  • Coordination of customer accounts and activities across the region.
  • Implementation and development of DPS Five-year plan within the region.
Skills & Experience:
  • 20+ years of experience in the semiconductor construction field (Client or Construction)
  • Experience in executing capital projects more than €300m.
  • Experienced with Basebuild, Tool Install, FAB Construction requirements.
  • Knowledge of project delivery challenges. Local and Global.
  • Experienced in conventional design and construction methodologies
  • Knowledge of alternative delivery methods (design-build, P3, modular etc.).
  • Demonstrated background in planning, organizing and execution of multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated background as an effective on-site team lead.
  • Excellent track record of running operations, project delivery and business expansion.
  • Knowledge of local based construction regulations
  • Knowledge of local based employment and business requirements
  • Proven financial and business modelling acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in building and developing projects business streams.
  • Must be highly motivated, responsive to change, proactive, strong decision-maker and willing to take on new challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of local market and local professionals.
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Strong people management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must possess strong technical writing and communication skills, outstanding presentation and negotiating skills.
  • 20-30% Travel Annually with ability to travel nationally and internationally to company and client meetings.
