Position Summary:
DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a Tool Install Scheduler with a solid background in construction support to join our growing team based in Penang, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, coordination, and maintenance of schedules to support the project requirements. The coordination must be consistent with Client wide Virtual Factory standards. These standards reference activity duration, activity logic, schedule SOP, and the schedule model. The contractor must provide a comprehensive accurate project schedule to facilitate the successful execution and completion of the project.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for setting up and maintaining the weekly schedule update cycle for the TI and AMHS schedules including completing weekly progress updates, schedule/critical path analysis, what-it risk analysis, and publishing weekly schedule status reports along with resource analysis.

P3/P6/Pull Plan/Weekly Work Plan resource coordination.

Resource load schedules and develop weekly reports for HC profiles by resource type.

Adhere to Client defined scheduling processes/SOPs.

Adhere to schedule change control/documentation processes

Work with the factory organisation to ensure EMS, SAP, Layout Systems are reconciled with the TI Schedule to reflect accurate scope and timing for the project.

Maintains TI Schedule by incorporating customer changes and updates into schedule.

Supports negative float resolution.

Works with Schedule customers to determine and implement solution to their schedule needs.

Develops and designs custom schedule reports.

Provides analysis on schedule information, e.g., PAS indicators, neg float and lookahead report

Interacts with PMs, Design, Factory and Contractor.

Communicates changes that impact the schedule.

Identifies improvement opportunities pertaining to schedule issues

Responsible for data integrity

Utilises VF standards for logic, Task IDs, durations, and activity codes and manages modifications/variations as needed per TI project

Provides What-If support to customers as needed.

Proactively troubleshoots schedule issues and gap and work issues with stakeholders
Education & Experience:
-
Two-year technical degree with emphasis on project controls and project scheduling

8 years of construction scheduling and database management experience or
-
4-year Professional degree in construction management/engineering and 4 years construction planning, scheduling, monitoring, updating, and reporting on construction projects and database management experience

Two to five years experience with Primavera scheduling software
Essential Skills:
-
Complete knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software

Thorough understanding of technical requirements for Primavera Scheduling Software (P5/6)

Excellent scheduling knowledge and ability to be a technical advisor with respect to a critical path, predecessors/successors, activity definition, activity sequencing, and logic

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access

Travel: level of travel e.g., 0% travel, 0 20% travel, 20 50% travel

Location: Malaysia site-based role with visa sponsorship provided for this position.

Travel: Occasional travel to other client sites as per business needs.

Working hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
