About the Department

Our Visp office is a Centre of Excellence for European Life Sciences with a team of process design experts, focusing on master planning, concept designs and preliminary engineering phases for multiple projects across Mainland Europe;

Role Focus

  • Lead, mentor process design team.
  • Assist in development of group systems, procedures, standards and knowledge management;
  • Prepare and participate in project proposals, man-hour estimating and client presentations;
  • Participate in presentations at industry conferences and writing of papers in publications.
  • Identify and research future industry trends. Keep on top of technology and industry developments;
  • Support Business Development for client engagement at senior levels;
  • To develop, organise and control programmes to eliminate existing or potential process/engineering problems and deliver plant improvements;
  • Provide technical backup to the operations teams in resolving complex process/plant problems.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a senior process engineer with a track record of leading a team and with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/Bio engineering project delivery. A key skill/knowledge in process safety is mandatory.

Ideally, suitable candidate will possess the following:

  • A higher technical degree, major in Industrial, process or chemical engineering;
  • Chartered Engineer
  • 15+ years of relevant and successful experience in an environment with pharmaceutical engineering;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Advanced time management and organisational skills;
  • Leadership skills, with a view to managing people for project safety, quality and delivery ;
  • It is important that you can participate in project engineering coordination activities;
  • You have the following competences: result- and customer-oriented, communication skills, listening and working in a team
  • Fluency in English, Germany, French desirable
