Job Description

Arcadis DPS Engineering are seeking a Mechanical Facilities Technician for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Ringaskiddy, Cork. This is initially a 12-month contract. Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support water systems (chilled, condensate, towns), boilers, chillers, cooling towers, steam distribution, low-pressure hot water, and door management.
  • Maintain mechanical assets for the WWTP, including pumps, mixers, pipework, and related systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems.
  • Support mechanical system upgrades, modifications, and project activities.
  • Oversee maintenance of drainage systems, sprinkler systems, and safety-related equipment.
  • Work with other teams to support infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and compliance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with environmental, safety, GMP, EHS, and local standards. Requirements
  • Trade qualification or Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in facilities/utilities management within GMP or regulated environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems (chillers, boilers, process piping, utilities distribution).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical equipment.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
