Lead Scheduler – Dublin

About the Role

Arcadis DPS Group specializes in Project Management, Multi-Discipline Design, and Construction Management for Pharmaceutical and Life Science Buildings. Based in our Dublin office, you will play a key role as a Lead Scheduler, preparing integrated schedules and reports for Pharmaceutical and High Technology Construction Projects across Ireland and Europe. You will oversee project timelines, coordinate activities, and monitor progress from concept through engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project-specific Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with company standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams during engineering phases to define key milestones and interdependencies.
  • Integrate contractor construction schedules during construction phases.
  • Prepare fully linked schedules with no open ends and identify critical paths.
  • Benchmark schedule timelines against similar projects.
  • Update schedules and report planned vs. actual progress.
  • Implement earned value reporting during construction stages.
  • Issue “Look Ahead” reports and incorporate change orders into schedules, analysing their impact on project timelines.
  • Support project controls in resource and procurement planning.
  • Work on multiple concurrently active projects while preparing detailed graphical, narrative, and numeric reports.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Education: Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years in scheduling and project controls, preferably within Pharmaceutical or High Technology projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Other Requirements:

  • While primarily office-based, some site work and occasional travel may be required.
