Contract Scotland are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a leading construction business based in Elgin.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on professional to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the region.
The Role
Supervising projects from inception through to completion, you’ll demonstrate a strong commitment to Health & Safety while ensuring quality and best practice remain at the forefront of all site activities.
As Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day running of site operations
- Supervising trades and ensuring all workmanship is completed to the highest standards
- Leading, managing, and motivating site teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring all site paperwork and documentation is maintained accurately and up to date
- Promoting and enforcing all SHE principles, including Covid-safe requirements where applicable
- Organising labour effectively and ensuring plant and machinery are utilised efficiently
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Site Manager role within the construction industry
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
